Had the pleasant surprise of meeting our SithWarrior in Ho Chi Minh airport just now and after landing at KLIA.......he was approached by Arab in "distress" for help....and this chap asked Sith, "You ARAB?".... i had a good laugh! So let's share our experience of what NATIONALITY we have been mistaken in the past...and also where this happened-lar for some relevance! Let me start! 1) Jules - Japanese in Australia, Thai in Bangkok, Singaporean in Vietnam2) Sithwarrior - ARAB in KLIA...ha ha

I was mitaken as a

Mexican in New York and LA. 2 Old ladies at the each respective International airports spoke to me in Spanish for directions...what la...I said...sorry.. no speak spanish...

Philipino in Makati Philiphines...cute ladies in HRC spoke to me in Tagalog...but I told them, I'm Malaysian .... they go... Ahhhh .... Perempuan Cantik? I said .... YAAAAA....

When ethnic is concerned, I'm not born in China, so should I consider myself Chinese?

I eat pork, so I am not Malay..
I eat beef, so I am not Hindu..
My hair not gold, single eye lid, flabby nose, short rolleyes, so I am not Kwai-lo..

So I think I best classified my self anak Malaysia because born in Malaysia.

When oversea, nobody know or can tell I'm anak Malaysia.. they say I Siamese, Japanese, Vietnamese all sort.. Sometime I even tell them I'm Singaporean because tired of explaining to them where Malaysia is..

When at home, government don't treat me as anak Malaysia, they say if tak suka, can leave the country... wu.hu..huu..huuu

Opps... out of topic.. should be about NATIONALITY... not ethnic.. Soli Soli..

In Langkawi, they said I'm a Filipinozzzz.... or Indonesian (I think I started to look like my maid oredi when they said that???)...
