What is the normal Fuel consumption of E30 M40 318i

Hi, I am new here and looking to get a "run-around" daily ride.Some friends told me to look at the E30 M40 318i(manual) Before I make a decision, I would like to know what is the Fuel consumption that I can get from this model.Thanks.NPK

Yes, I would think that E30 318i M40 should be 11-13 km/l.

80 bucks i get 400km without pressing the pedal to the metal too much..so that gives me about 10km/l..i'd say overall its pretty frugal la

80 bucks of Primax, I only get 300-310km.
Altho mines an auto and I mostly drive in the city so perhaps that explains the high consumption.
Mostly regular driving, maybe a few spurts of 5-6k revs every now and then at nights.

My previous ride was about 8.6ltrs/100km....if my calculations r right..

e30 m40b18 manual stock standart
rm 50.00 fuel for 250kms only. (ron 95. rm1.8/lit)
most of the time maintain speed between 140km/h ~ 170km/h.

consumption bad ah????

Fuel consumption depends on the state of the engine.... Engines in bad shape can't return good consumption....

FYI, worn cam lobes is not uncommon for an aging E30. And of cos when this happens, the engine loses efficiency and fuel consumption increase.

how if the exhaust backbox not in good condition..?
