Okay i went to my mech, he just visually checks it and concluded it's the radiator cap lol SO i take his word for it and bought a new one. When i had a look at my old rad cap lo and behold ...

What i initially thought the expansion tank cracked based on the residue

Hopefully that just it for now ... but i will monitor coolant level for the next few weeks.
