I think I should update the status of my car which is turning my black hair white for the moment. After my "PREVIOUS" mechanic changed just about everything to do with the water system and even suggested changing the head gasket, we found the following. 1) It was the fan which was intermittent - running at high speed sometimes and sometimes not - in the end I got a brand new fan 2) After changing the fan for 2 weeks, water low again - changed the cap cover to the tank - let's wait and see if this will fix it Now moving to my white hair problem :- 1) Wanting to change the head gasket, the new mechanic found that the previous mechanic has destroyed all the engine thread - bought a 2nd hand engine with 3 months warranty 2) Then the new engine was leaking oil - sump pump needs replacement 3) Then white smoke coming out of exhaust - sent car back for the guy to fix - hopefully its only the valve seal and not the piston ring Will keep you updated soon ..... Bankrupt
