I wanted to upgrade my sound system but found there was none offered by AB. And they adviced against me messing with anything electrical so fixing better quality speakers is out of the question. At least for the next 2 years. Do check if your car comes with the "Comfort glass" which is already a tint. My 525i has that as standard but was not on the e60 520i. The tint is as good as the v-cool. Makes a lot of difference having this tint in our weather. But it is a very light color tint. You can see the film if you wind down the window a little.
