Whenever coupling goes, it normally makes a lot of squeaking noises, due to lack of any grease inside coupling and rust. It would also vibrate at various speeds, not only on pick up. From what's been mentioned above, i suspect it is a center bearing (if you have one), if not, than definitely coupling. Furthermore, it could be neither. Vibration as such can come from differential itself or gbox. But 9 out of 10 times, it is coupling or center bearing. Do let us know what was actual problem once its fixed.
