Dear E90 sifus,Of late found out that my car has act weirdly when driving at speed range of 40-60kmh. When accelerate fast it is fine but when you decelerate and accelarate back ,i can feel a slight vibration from undercarriage. This normally happened at higher gear range eg 3rd to 4th gear.I have not tested yet whether it could be from the tyre or any other possibilities eg. gearbox mounting or exhaust mounting.Or is there anything to do with drive shaft/long shaft.Wonder if anyone of you have experience this and able to share & recommend countermeasure? Thanks

Just to share ,

Check thoroughly with my mechanic and after test drive and full undercarriage inspection the problem cause by:

1. Broken mounting at rear axle.Rear axle has 4 mounting and 2 of them are already broken. The repair estimated cost is RM 1,000 for the parts and another RM 500 for the labour. It will be a massive job to dismantle full rear suspension system, rear axle and long shaft.

Bro FIRZ67, how old is your ride? Try claiming these replacements under Goodwill from any of the SC. You might be paying a portion of the cost of parts & labor.

Mine is year 05 and 06 reg car. It should be from the first batch which is a CBU unit. No more warranty...

Need to check the couplings for the shaft. Happened to my rear driven merc long-long time ago.
