my mechanic is doing transplant the new block now couse my 325 has a prob (low compression) maybe couse of the mileage (already reach 300 000km) so iam decide to change the block to 330 model. the problem now is i dont know which model injector iam need to install coz now iam already using 330 injector couse i did a lot of mid (include hi cam and porting) so defenately ill need bigger injector than 330, any seggestion from otai otai bimmer?.just a little bit bigger than 330 its enough i think. thanks.

your current injectors is just nice...dun need to upgrade it. the ecu can take it and give enough fuel.

yalo...even 2.8 share the same injector with 3.2 for E36 in US...

thanks for all the suggestion and information. today iam decide just change piston only with 3.2 litre. 1 of my friend suggest me to take from X3 3.3 litre injector if my existing cannot support for my new 3.2. if i take from m3,its much bigger than my engine needed. . and the roadtax is still pay for 325 couse iam just rebore it.

bro...mind to share the result once completion....
wonder how much performance improve after this mod.

not sure where you are getting your advice or info for your engines from. but what boresize 3.2L piston are you talking about and putting into your m54 engine? what head gasket are you using after the rebore?

3.2 pistons, x3 3.3L ? m3 injectors? i hope you are getting what you are paying for.

good luck modding your car.

damn expensive 3.2 litre stroker!!!. so last iam just decide change aftermatket forged wiseco piston (84.5mm bore and 11:1 compression). i hope this is the best for my money. and after change a lot of parts (timing chain, valve spring, tensional upper and lover, top set ), just cost about 7k only which i got a lot of stuff and ogirional, and better piston than oem.

Good luck bro and do post the dyno results here ... Buat engine rebuild kat mana bro?

i hope your mechanic did the proper bore requirements for the forged pistons, they are different from the common mahle pistons used for the ori bmw engines.
if not done, the pistons would get stuck in the bore....

I'm with Taikor leforte on this one. what black magic voodoo are you planning? :)

dont forget your block is alu, so the expansion rate against the piston is very impt. better than oem? err, not really. I hope the boring is done right, and would be better if you resleeved the block.

what are you doing on tuning? just using bigger injectors wont solve the problem, plus you're running wilder cams and higher compression? the stock tune wont be able to maximise the stuff you're putting in.

just curious, what was your promised hp/tq gains? did they say you would be able to beat an m3? all the best, look forward to the finished results. hopefully its what you were promised.

For 7k Taikor Ramsing can give more sextifaction than engine mod

great to see the end result of this projeck .... hopefully it's not another FLY by night M3 dream .....

Touch wood, seen many uncertainty when it involves boring, hope you get what you pay.
God bless the machine.

Yup thats why I dont simply mod my BMW. Power upgrade for NA is not cheap. Even not cheap to SCed.
Simply said BMW manyak mahal worr

Sorry for the noob question, but I thought aluminum blocks can't be bored, that's why most people use the iron blocks from the 325 M50?
