Unable to start car again!

Happened to me once before quite some time ago. This evening after work, car won't start. All lights working, horn working. No sound at all when I turn the key.Called roadside assistance and they sent a mechanic. Tested my battery ok. Connect his batter to mine and try to start, also cannot.He thinks its the starter. So cannot do anything, take taxi home, think how to solve problem tomorrow morning.Any ideas what could be the problem? This morning I went through a pot hole in the road . Wonder if that can cause something come loose. Tried pushing all the fuses in but still no luck.

Starter changed five years ago. So fast?

What was the fault last time? Probably the same thing.

1. if your car manual ,try push start.if can then confirm starter.yr last starter change 5 years ago change brand new or 2nd hand?if 2nd hand hand then kenot rule our the starter.
2. if your car auto,check the gear lever.try moving it thru the gear range.if still kenot,jump the starter direct and see if it turns.if it does turn,then check the gear lever switch...maybe in the gear console or maybe underneath the car.donno where la but that's the probable cause....

Problem was with some of the wiring. Fixed at Mspeed, Rm100 . Towing rm50
