L&G,I have E46 N42 318i 2004.I am looking a reliable mechanic in the PJ area. Please give name and contact numbers. i get my parts from singapore, so I am looking for a decent price trusted mechanic. You could also sms me your inputs on 0123156792. Thanks a million.Issues faced:1. Recently I notice my car is drinking engine oil. With no leaks.2. Radiator light comes on during long distance driving. Sensor changed and temperature needle is normal.3. Steering is making a knocking noise over bumpy roads. Mechanic can't identify the problem.

#1 Ask Mechanic to check ---> valve cover gasket and while you there check your pumps too
This happen to my previous car... mysterious oil loss...

i have experience this also...
engine oil loses and radiator light come out.

suggestion:
1. check around the oil filter casing/housing
2. check around the cranks shaft sensor
3. check your radiator cap seal( if this seal give way, the water may evaporated through it.
4. visual check on the cooling system for white stain. if any that shows that the water sipping out through it.
5. check your water pump
