Tires (runflat) Problem?

Hi all,

Just want to check and double check with sifu(s) regarding my tires.

Is it normal or common for a runflat tires to become like this?

Mine is stock tires. Did 26k so far. Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT Star.

Need clarification and advice.

Check on the manufacturing date. If it is within 4 year old, then no need to worry.
 
It's 4313. Still within 4 years.

But the peeled off makes me worried [emoji45]

It is not unusual. Stones, gravel and other sharp objects on the road surface will off course cut into the compound of the tyre over time. At 26k kms, it wont be long before you will get new shoes for your car!
 
it should be normal. RFTs are using harder compound compared to non-RFTs
