Bought them for RM3XX for about 7 liters.</p><p>Very good service from the distributor, even delivered it to me at no cost.</p><p><img src="http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l198/el_2609/Emma/IMG_2413.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></p><p></p><p>While my old seals are hardened, it still maintains some of its elasticity and is not brittle. Doesn't crack even as I fold/bend/press/twist it. I vaguely remember the previous owner mentioning that he changed the seals but I'm not 100% sure about that..But if that's the case, it means that these Beisan seals might eventually harden and lose efficacy as well <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite3" alt=":(" title="Frown :(" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":(" /></p><p></p><p>With that being said, the difference is obvious. Before refreshing the seals, the car has little torque below 1.5k, picks up between 1.5 and ~3k, and only surges right after that. Also, when moving from a stop, the engine will bog a little and clutch engagement can be described as jerky.</p><p>All these went away right after the seal replacement. Engine is responsive and doesn't bog (I can even start from a go in 2nd gear!), torque below 3k rpm is restored and overall it became a very smooth and enjoyable drive. Can't really comment on fuel consumption improvement because I changed my regular route coincidentally.</p><p>I would definitely recommend seal replacement - at RM100 for the seals and ~RM250 for labor, I'd say its a no-brainer.
