Hey Guys, Been a passive and unofficial member since 2008 (i think - plus minus one year). A little history about myself. Started driving in 1993 (i.e bapa punya kereta - Mazda 626). Owned my first wheels in 2000. It was a Proton Wira 1.6XLiA Thomas Cup edition. But malu nak bawa kereta around the town because that year Thomas Cup went to the Indonesians...hahahahaha. Always dreamt of driving a E46 UDM. Test drove the 318i and 325i. In 2007, when I had the cash to get a UDM, my intent was to get a 325i. One friend had to racun me "You should try the 330i".Test drove one, went bonkers, stretched the $$$ a little and got myself a second hand E46 330i 2004, mileage 40k. Best decision of my life. Only problem is, my friends now would kutuk me by saying "Kalau nyamuk gigit pun, dia hantar kereta masuk workshop". Was about to join the BMWClub in 2008 but ditched the idea since I accepted a job offer in Bangkok. Been in the Land of Smiles for the past 2 years 5 months. Enjoyed every moment ;) Anyways, returning back to Malaysia this April 2011 and hope to join the club as an active member.

Welcome to the forums bro. Wow, you joined even earlier than I did. :p

Anyways, congrats on getting your 330i. Such a pocket rocket!

Come join us for TT the next time you're back in Malaysia bro...

PS: The Thais do have some impressive Bimmers there, don't they! Hehe, E34s, 30s, what-nots. :top:

Bro Eggie86.....indeed very impressive. My personal favourite is the E36 model. Impressive headlights and bumpers, original stock from Isaan and Chiang Mai.....one bottle of beer goes a long wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy in Sukhumvit Road..........hehehehehe.

If any Club Members are in Bangkok before 10th April, gimme a holla on +66890785199.

Awesome man. I previously spotted an E36 Alpina B3 on the freeway along Lad Phrao, heading southbound. My cousin used to own an E46 325i which he kitted with ACS goodies, now he's upgraded to the 523i F10.

Deep3102: Thanx for the welcoming note

Eggie86 : From what I noticed in Thailand, especially Bangkok, I spotted more of the older generation on the road, i.e. E36s, E46s, E39s. Hardly see the newer generation.....hmmm....or perhaps I am blind.

Haha, you're right. I have posted some pics from my visit to Bangkok somewhere in the forums.

Loads of E30s, 36s, 34s... Hardly saw E32s though. My dad told me before that they weren't sold officially back then. Almost noticed that the older Bimmers had the Yontrakit logo on the boot.
