Top Speed same 230km/h  little slower to reach its top speed compared to E60.I had full service records by AB and Optimum.If you want to compare the E60 with E39,  to me both cars has it's plus points by looking at it's era of time, in terms of technology and gadgets E60 has full of them which makes driving lots more easier.It's up too a  individuals choice or prefference how well do you want to keep your ride, preventive maintenance can be costly but yet again it gives you a piece of mind.CheersSiva</blockquote>
