One thing about the E46M3 compared to the E92M3, it tolerates bigger slip angle when going sideways

E92M3 has more grip and stability through the high speed corners due to wider track and obviously an evolution of the previous model. It also has more power but in terms of driving pleasure, I would say the E46M3 is more satisfying with more feedback and the engine induction noise is definitely another plus, where as the E92 is more comfortable with better NVH. Then again, this is my biased opinion hehehe.

so subjective in nature, i guess..somehow e46 looks more fleshy whereas e92 is kinda modern design and its an upgraded version of the e46 model..some loves the growl more than anything..how true is this?

Yeah it all depends on what you love. The E92 is more comfortable, more space (a bigger car) and has a bigger engine. That is just the direction it is going, not limited to BMWs but other manufacturers as well, as consumers prefer better creature comforts. Only serious enthusiasts will prefer cars with louder engines hahaha...then again BMW has the M3 GTS
