Hi guys, I have a local 2012 528i M sport. Have been noticing some abnormal soft clunking noise from the left front for many months. This noise comes very intermittently and I observed that it will be evident when the car goes over a uneven pavement or small hump on a left turn of the steering. Only heard if driving slowly . On the regular speed bumps it is fine. I suspect it could be one of these possibilities: 1) lower arm bushings 2) Front stabilizer links 3) suspension bushings 4) ? Body panel sound Prior to this I had replaced my steering rack last year at AB Jln Tun Razak as it had noises too. The steering is fine now. The AB guys have checked my absorbers and it's component and said the absorbers are fine. I am not too sure how they check / inspect the absorbers. I don't think they remove the suspension components to check for the noise. They said no leak from the absorbers. They suspected the wheel bearings but cannot confirm that too. Since the noise comes only intermittently and won't cause any breakdowns they suggested me to continue observe the situation first. Another "issue", has anyone realised there is a clicking sound on the wheels each time we turn the steering either to the right of left ( with the windows down) ? I have highlighted this issue to AB but they claim it is normal and is due to the brake callipers. Don't know true or not. Any ideas or opinions ? Thanks
