hey guys, you all still own me.. :34:check the attached picture, with my e36 instrument cluster compare to one of E36 instrument cluster from someone else... :top:two slightly different version of same E36 instrument cluster.i took 6 month+ to track and hunt it down, serious HARD work... i really don't know the rest of module contain any bug or not???because i don't have the electronic module schematics and that is stupid :stupid: to track the electronic circuitHowever my theory/scientific idea PROOFTED correct. :34:but that is better to post those electronic board PICTURE to share with therest or compare with the previous damaged/destroyed module.any other people got the same bug discovered in his instrument cluster???i really not know who done it???, what conspiracy behind this???maybethese bug had cause the previous owner suffer hard and forced to sale his heavily MODDED E36 racer, the previous owner had dissapointed with his BMW and all the BMW...
 
Hello, long time no sound........Looks like your meter is burned, that's why got bug. Now can confirm ah BMW did not put bugs in all the E36'es?

where got burn?, my meter still functioning, not yet KILL by the bug.
the resistor allow small current to disturb the IKE itself,DME,EGS,BCV...????

you mean opposite meaning????

that one i don't know,
what i know with the current flow to those DME,EGS (318i version),
BCV and IKE itself is not right in fuel consumption signal line
which was output from DME to IKE,BCV,EGS as INPUT just to
display calculated fuel consumption rate from DME? no other function.
 
you know how i suspect it?,

first i was checking the DME with it disconnect and remove (disconnect battery first),
then i reconnect it back and start the engine, i start the engine, engine sound very powerful
for the first start, but the engine abit weak for second and the rest... start/running.,

next i test run the car with instrument cluster disconnected,
the engine seem to be powerful??? then....
i force all the way to get the instrument cluster out for inspection..

actually i start to suspecious it years ago, where i go
to workshop and ask mech to remove the steering, they
told me they don't know how to remove it, because i was
busy, soo i delay it until some very weird problem occured,
