i recently saw spots of rust around the sunroof rubber trimming of my '91 520i. went in to check with my regular bodywork workshop and he insist that the sunroof can only be remove from inside the car, ripping off all the ceiling panel and everything. I am of the opinion that it could be removed from the external/top and make the whole restoration exercise easier. Any experience anyone?
