I think it's reasonable that you have to spend another 5-7k on the car before it's in a condition that you are happy with. I felt the same way like you in the early days, just spend so much, now have to spend some more. But over time, the sheer driving pleasure will come and then you'll wonder how you ever lived without it. Hahaha.Which part of you undercarriage is scrapped ? Is it the exhaust?
