Message: <blockquote data-quote="ALBundy" data-source="post: 385217" data-attributes="member: 15">Kyle Chen, I respect your enthusiasm to arrange for this meet up. As you have inevitably found out, it is not so simple as in putting A, B and C together. The moral of the story is this, do your homework and get the details all sorted out before you start posting your event.  As for police permit, we have dealt with the local policemen and never did us bribed them to get permits or permission to hold a gathering.  There are various ways to get the event sorted out, or many ways to skin a cat.  You don't need to have a 10000 cars gathering, just get 1000 signatures and have 1-2 representatives from various car clubs present with you to hand over the petition/signatures collected. In fact this can be delegated to each club to collect the signatures from its members. You can also invite the mass media to witness the handover.  Good luck. Cheers</blockquote>
