They tend to do this because the e34 has the steering rattling tendency and locking it dead gives it a tighter feel. It can be unlock. my mech did that once for me, but i could not undo it myself....after removing the panels under the steering. Brought it to them and they undid it, but warned me that you may feel more steering rattle. So far..it feels the same to me..</p></blockquote><p></p>
