I'm looking at installing either 19" or 20" on the F10 and also considering the pros and cons of staggered vs non-staggered setup. Will a non staggered set up be compromised with lower handling control?

Thanks for your feedback guys! I just need to know if a non staggered setup is going to be ideal, looking at how wheels are sold, they are mostly staggered setup from 18" beyond. I do realize the benefits of rotating the wheels with a non staggered set up....

Im having the same thoughts, I think staggered are better though, gives it that meaner look

mind you, you can still rotate the tyres with a staggered set up, but have to dismount the tyres from the rims and mount them again, a bit leceh only...tyre shop work, pay only..

you mean Front tyres to Rear?

Tyre selection is the key here, look out for the directional tyres with only 1 mountable side such as the Michelin PS2. In this case, they dont allow swapping even left to right.

Any F10 owners here with aftermarket wheels? Any pic posting would be greatly appreciated! The stock OEMs are super plain joes...

Front to rear tire rotation is not possible in a staggered setup because the front and rear wheel width and tire aspect ratio are different. And the PS2 is not a unidirectional tire and can be rotated side to side. It's asymetrical, as are all performance tires, but not unidirectional. Just to clear up any misconceptions.

non staggered is usually more tail happy than staggered.

what do you mean about 'tail happy' non staggered wheel paul..? Does it gives better control / possibility to rotate the tyres?

It's simple logic.

Staggered tire setup would mean the rear wheels have more grip. More grip = less tail happy.

and slide around means....going sideways....

...and going sideways means..."drifting"...

....fun though

just the clear air around even clearer :D :D :D

can sifus here explain what's staggered and non staggered pls?

In staggered setups you have the rear set of tires wider (ie 275/35/20) whilst the front is thinner (ie 245/30/20)...

Does the rear staggered tyre would haus or wear quicker ?

I don't think so... cause logically thinking.. wider tire, spreads the load in a larger area.. so less pressure per square inch, so logically thinking it wont wear quicker than those of narrower tire.
