You have sharp ears

After listening to it twice .. yes.. the V10 has tighter, sharper biting sound. v8 is a bit subdued.


But both are very very very loud!!!

On the contrary, I think the V8 definitely has a higher pitch sound....that engine was easily revving past 20,000 rpm before switching to 7th gear!

Can't read too much into testing times, but BMW's V8 is looking promising with regards to the field. Toyota's V8 and 2006 car is also looking very strong. Yesterday was the first time many different F1 V8's came out to play together, so its interesting to see the lap time comparisons..
