Faiz, 2 possibilities; the flat panel (when player is off) is slipping out and preventing it from going into play mode. check when the player is in the eject position the bottom (the flat panel) is not sliding out easily. or due to the flip action, the connector cables have been worn out and needs to be replaced at kenwood. after sometime the player will have no sound from the cd or radio at all. i spend rm150 a year doing this via my installer at kennkenn. .... yes, the lifespan of these flexible cables... *yikes* JMW The second of the two possible problems seems to be the culprit. The radi/cd sound has been erratic fro some time (maybe also due to the pre-/amp wiring). Will see if the prob can be fixed but tangan itchy to change the HU as the exist8ng player does not have MP3!Thanks anyway, guys, for your views. Regards Faiz
