The Kenwood CD/VCD player in my e34 is an automatic flip-face. It usually flips out and turns on when the car is started but lately seems to have gone into some default mode - it sticks out for the head-unit to be removed and stays that way. When the head is removed, the metal bracket goes back into the dash. There are no switches to reset or something except one behind the head unit with 0 1 2 3 settings. There is also some problem with the amplifier wiring. The previous owner said he had had it sorted out.I've been to two accessory shops around my place but they say I have to dismantle the whole set and send it to a kenwood main dealer for servicing/repair.
