So lets say youve been playing with the step for some time and you come to a stop at the light, the step would work its way down to M2 by itself without you having to downshift. It only goes as far as M2, never M1 by itself. M1 really is quite low, as mentioned above only for take off and very tight race corner. Have you found the kick-down point on your gas pedal yet? When you extend your right foot all the way down, you can feel the clicking point that engages kick-down (downshift).</blockquote>
