So Confused whether to stick with my 1984 e23 or swap it for 2001 e46

Hye guys, i have a 1984 735i e23 manual . I bought from my boss since he not using it just few month ago. i do like the cruise and VIP style of the car. i spend rm5k for the car. Still i having a confusion whether to stick to this car or change it for e46. I duno guys, need some advice from Otai here. BTW my age is 25. and this is my first car. Im still confuse whether to be in old school with the e23 or change to e46 so i can modify it to have sporty look. And also would very helpful if you guys anyone who sell e46 or buy e23, plz let me know. thanx guys.
