Over last new year's eve long weekend, I spent a good 7 hours doing detailing on a white SLK..courtesy of a friend who trust a newbie in detailing the car! Absolutely love working with white or any bright colours! Before, tar, bugs, what have you..

White colour is tar magnet. This is even after washing. Meguair's Tar Remover works wonders..as shown later

Very nice! White does tend to 'attract' dirt and tar. What other products/process did you carry out to get that deep glossy swirl free finish?

cheers all!

I use all Meguair's consumer range products.
1st of all, remove tar and swirl marks using Tar Remover and ScratchX. Then, use the Deep Gloss polish to give it the glossy, wet look.
Finally use Yellow Wax to protect the surface.

All these done by hand. Hence, after the detailing session, I had sore biceps and triceps for the next couple of days.

i'm still have lots to learn about detailing! Always admire the work done by KC and Seech. :)

It goes to show that its not the products but the person behind the product that matters. :top:

Great job. Keep it up!
