The government has enough money to fund for these :) the only reason why we are not getting it is because for an obvious reason - mismanagement of funds and corruption. If we look at the size of the Malaysian population, amount of natural resources we have, FDI for the last 2 decades, we should have been a lot more advanced today. By not managing it the right way, middle income Malaysians are hugely impacted. In a healthy economy, there should be more people in the middle layer but because of what it is now, middle income groups are pushed lower. When the poor become poorer, some end up robbing and killing. These people have nothing to lose and they die for everything. I'm just saying the fuel prices should be more fairly priced considering that we are a nett exporter or cars should not be taxed unreasonably. There's no country in the world that is like us, so many tolls, so much of taxes :) if the global crude oil price goes up, we end up earning more but instead, pump prices are raised. I don't only speak for myself but for most average Malaysians which feels the impact of these unreasonable policies. If I have the choice, I rather see majority of Malaysians driving BMW's than Proton's.
