My car dii the same thing too and in one point the 3rd gear will become loose and free. When it shifts to the fourth, you can feel the car is moving up slowly. The auto gear box is basically like a manual tranny. Whenever you clutches wear of the effect that you feel almost simmilar like the manual gear box. I guess you have to change the gearbox or refurbish it. I would recommend you to refurbish em. I did mine for only about RM 2,300 including replacing the fly wheel oil seal back in JB.
