Dear all,I have been having this problems with my 2 front rims for the past months until now cannot bear with it anymore......Every 2 - 3 days, my tyre pressure of both the front tyres drop from 220 to 130 , and the steerling feels damn heavy naturally, so every 2-3 days must "pump" my tyres. btw, I am using 195/50/15.I had no problem with these 2 tyres/rims previously when I was using Good Year tyres, until before CNY, I changed to Continental, that's where the problem starts.I had even sent my rims for repair and do some skimming , but still can't solve the problem.Anyone had a better solutions for me or can recommend a good Rims Repair shop ?Am thinking of using those tyre rescue solution ..............

I took mine to Heap Soon Segambut. It's near AB Segambut.
Let me know if you need help to go there.

Avg time to fix rims (knock, skim) - 1-2 days. If you include repainting, polishing, give them a few more days. They'll give you spare rims+tires for you to drive around.

Cost-wise- RM 50-RM140/rim, depending on rim size and also what you do (knock, skim, polish, repaint)

Can they do hi-polishing till mirror surface finish?

Pump ur tyres and dump in water and look for leaks. There could be cracks or pin hole in ur rims. I ever encountered a small pinhole where the air escapes, this was on 17" TSW IMOLA rims. Had gone into a pot hole. Once u found the hole on the rims use superglue to cover or best still araldite(epoxy). Another solution dump ur rims and get a new one hehehehehe

i wish i can dump my rims and get new ones........hehehehe

wat happend if the leaks comes from the side , between the rubber and the side of the rim ?

alb, you've got PM.

If the side leaks, like in my case, they will knock, skim and repolish. If needed, repaint.

muscle, mirror finish? emm maybe close. Have to ask those who repainted to silver again. Mine's anthracite black or close to hyper black.
