Advanced 3-in -1 FunctionalityRIKE COOL® films are designed to fulfillthree important functions: * HEAT & INFRARED BLOCKING * ULTRA VIOLET RAY REJECTION * INCREASE ROAD SAFETY * HEAT & INFRARED REDUCTION You can be assures of a heat-rejection barrier between you and the sun, giving you a cooler ride with up to 14% temperature drop under solar glare. * ULTRA VIOLET RAY REJECTION Proven to block up to 96.0% of IR Radiation and 99.9% of UV Solar radiation which can be harmful to human body that can cause skin cancer. * INCREASE ROAD SAFETY Film thickness 4 Mil to prevent glass from shattering, and a tensile strength of up to 35.6 kg/ inch to gives you a better protection from shattering glass causing injury when in an accident.

Rike cool,

I am currently deciding what tint to use for my E38 - thinking of either V-kool which I have used for my E36 or trying out Rike Cool. How much would it cost to tint my ride and what would be the benefits of using Rike Cool over V-Kool?

Maxu,

* ATO/ ITO has a longer lifespan and is far more durable than conventional films; because ATO/ ITO is a non-metalised substance, it does not rust or color fading like its metal-based counterparts.

* ATO/ ITO allow single piece installation on all windows, no matter how curved or rounded.

* ATO/ ITO provide better UV & IR protection for vehicle occupant and the car interior.

VLT - 63.0%
UVR - 99.9%
IRR - 96.0%
Tensile Strength - 17.8kgf/inch
Thickness - 2 Mil

We are participating on this 24th of October at BMW Gymkhana, Shah Alam. Please wait as we are working out the best promotion for BMWCM on that day. See you there.

Guys,

Last week during PUSPAKOM inspection, the officer removed my front windscreen tint. Complained to RIKE COOL and got FOC replacement even though my car was tinted in 2002.

Thanks RIKE COOL.

i'm happy with 3M.. except when the Smarttag doesn't work thru em!

All tint films with good IR rejection rating will give problem to SmartTag and auto gate remote because these devices are using IR wave for transmission. If someone claim their's have no problem with SmartTag or auto gate remote, they merely admitting their film has lousy IR rejection properties.

What I recently noticed is some tint shop will cut out a 4" x 8" (agak-agak) section out from the upper section of the driver side on the windscreen tint and replace with a low IR rejection film of similar color film allowing driver to aim their SmartTag and auto gate remote thru this section. Very creative, all my cars don't have.. :( Next time I do it, I will request for this "special" section.. :top:

Unlike conventional films that are created using metalised material or coloured films to block light at the expense of visibility, RIKE COOL® products utilise a breakthrough technologically-superior material called ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) that offers a vision clarity and host of advantages.

Multi-layer metalised film has normal performance on cutting off heat. The drawback is that the metalised material may effect electromagnetic wave signals generated from cell phones, remote gate controls and electronic card readers...etc... Rike Cool's ITO allows the full transmission of electromagnetic and radio waves, thus guaranteeing the functionality of road devices such as Smart TAG, Fastrak, Express Tag, ERP (Singapore), GPS system and others...

Advantages of ITO
* ITO has a longer lifespan and is far more durable than conventional films; because ITO is a non-metalised substance, it does not rust or color fading like its metal-based counterparts.

* ITO allow single piece installation on all windows, no matter how curved or rounded.

* ITO provide better UV & IR protection for vehicle occupant and the car interior.

I'm also contemplating changing my V-Kool Elite to Rike Cool if the price is right. Essentially, my car detailer damaged the passenger window tint. Being an E92, the window is frameless. Is there an outlet in the Hartamas / Mont Kiara area. If so, I intend to get this sorted as soon as possible.

It is better to get your car tinted at Rike Cool HQ at No.2, Jalan Kilang 51/206, 46050 Petaling Jaya,
