TOM and other Committee members & Advisors, how about setting up a Resource Page just like the Singapore BMW members website.It would be useful for members to check out the contacts.....one-eye-see-all format? Like this.........http://www.bmw-sg.com/forums/workshops.php

The problem is we are not even allowed to advertise ACS or even Hamann, so this resource page would probably consist only of BMW Authorised Workshop Only, Auto Bavaria , Sapura Auto and and a few more ...

Fully understand the Club's Official bit but how about dedicating a Resource Page for the members to share what, where, how, when, why, who...etc for parts & services. Strictly members' recommendations...........at the moment, it's all over the place......

Example,

• If I have a problems with radiator.....Who & Where do I get it done at a reasonable price.
• If I need to fix the car air-cond, who do I see and where?
• If I need a good paint job, where do I look?

Many of the club members have some sort of "jalan" or "lubang" which can fix many things at a reasonable price. Just need a summary on one-eye-see-all page.

Member's recommendations may not work for various reasons, namely the risk of BCM indirectly endorsing a place of business. Besides recommendations can get subjective.

But along the same lines, we could, perhaps have a Dealer or Business Review/Ratings/Feedback section. I think that's more legit, and serves the same purpose. What do you think, comm's?

Yeah but if we have a dedicated section, we can kick it up a notch....take it to a new level. And since these are technically reviews/discussion by members, it won't be endorsement just public opinion borne of free and democractic will.

KL2DC has a point. But I still think we should put all in one-section-format to enable members one-eye-see-all!
