Replacing/repairing sunroof liner in E36

Does anyone here have any experience replacing/repairing the sunroof headliner in an E36?Mine is getting "chewed up" when I open it!Is there an easy way to just remove the interior sunroof panel to get the liner replaced?Or does the whole sunroof panel have to come out (as in remove exterior panel, then the mechanisms, then the interior panel)?The Bentley isn't too detailed on this. Any help appreciated! Thanks.
