Replacement key

Hi all,I'm new to the forum. Just had my R1200RT delivered home from my last overseas posting. On the good side, it arrives in one piece and the import tax was not that extravagant but on the down side, the forwarder lost my spare key. I gave it to them for the rider to send the bike to my house but he lost it. At least, he promised to replace it but I would just like to find out - how do you go about getting your bike key replaced? How much is it? Do I need to send the original key to BMW or can they just remake one from the VIN number? Any info?Thanks.-Pandai-Cheras
