My daughters E34 feels like its powered by monkeys on a treadmill until the revs get above 4500. Any comments on rechipping or remapping the Chip for more power?Anyone have a good sugestions on a shop in the Cheras area that knows how to flush an E34 auto tranny. Took it to one shop who put DexronIII instead of the Esso fluid - result shift selector valve eventually froze up. Took it to another shop, explained the problem and left them ten liters of correct Esso fluid. After they "flushed" and refilled it with the clear fluid (supposedly) I took it to another shop to have the selector valve replaced. Fluid drained out was dirty and red colored. Right PO'd about this, so back to the first shop who said they just pumped the new fluid in and mixed it with the old (but charged me $150 for flushing). So another $400 worth of new fluid and a very expensive repair that should have not been expensive.:102:
