hello..i got prob with my e36 318...the Rear right side is lower than left side..the difference around 1 to 2 inch..the suspension in good condition ..Are there any possilbities something might went wrong with my coil spring??what i have to do ..tq

Last I measured on the E36 was about 10mm, or 1cm.

It is perfectly normal and the only way is to get a set of adjustable coilovers :)

Cheers

My old E34 was 1"-2" think it really depends onhow much fuel and / or what type of springs you have.

bro ,
it's normal . the petrol tank & the BATTERY ! what I did ( well actually my trusty mechanic did ...he he he ) is to put about an 1/2 inch of spacer at the top mounting . it's kind of hard but flexible material . he told me it's for honda but he trimmed it to fit my E36 .

bro... my car had same problem. found out that back spring 1 side shorter than the other....then checked the front...same case..1 side shorter than the other....happened after i claimed insurance after accident..they put in some chaplang thrown out stuff.... just changed to Eibach lowered springs...car balanced ( rear right a tad bit lower due to petrol and battery.)

hope this helped.. :D

I have the same problem with my E46. It's not normal because it wasn't like that when I bought the car. Initially, my mechanic told me that there was nothing wrong with my springs. I then fixed my camber and the mechanic told me that he has pushed it to the maximum to adjust it. I then checked with another mechanic, and he told me that it is the suspension (or that springy thing on the wheel). Mine's about 1" to 2" lowered on my rear right as well. I still haven't fixed it though. I was told it would cost me RM350 just for one side of suspension.

Bro, it's a sign. Time to lower the car with a sports package :)
