Message: <blockquote data-quote="naga_v18" data-source="post: 29947" data-attributes="member: 27245"><p>Good day gents n ladies,Im new to this forum.I has a BMW E39 520i yr 2000.M52 double vanos.My rear left lamp indication on cluster showing its faulty.Its already been change to a after market lamp which have the led lights.When i bought the car last Apr 2011,no any fault on the cluster,but after all this time suddenly the indication appear,so i took the car to a popular BMW service center(not AB) ,he claim there should be some led in the lamp blown,so the difference in the current return back to ECU will detect fault.So he advice me to bring the car to his fren's place who has a accessory shop.He(the fren) will install some relay to counter the current and will solve the issue. Myself after being there for a day to rectify auxiliary belt snapped and regular service,could'nt make it to send the car to the frens place,so decided to send to a shop near my place the next day.The person tried to swap the right lamp and fix to left lamp.still the indication appear.(so this shows that the lamp is ok)and fixed the left lamp to right(no fault indication)pls advice ,what am i suppose to do,since both the lamp is OK when fixed to the right side.      Best regards</p></blockquote><p></p>
