Rear left lamp faulty indication.

Myself after being there for a day to rectify auxiliary belt snapped and regular service,could'nt make it to send the car to the frens place,so decided to send to a shop near my place the next day.The person tried to swap the right lamp and fix to left lamp.still the indication appear.(so this shows that the lamp is ok)and fixed the left lamp to right(no fault indication)pls advice ,what am i suppose to do,since both the lamp is OK when fixed to the right side.
