Mainly because the Waxco product is polymer based. There is a mention in the manual not to use polymer / silicone based products on rubber seals as it corrodes the rubber seals and can be a source of noise. One thing we can infer from the manual is that noise from rubber seals is at the least ....unacceptable! Although the Kit product does not state the formulae it is based on, the watery look and feel of the product lead me to assume that it is based on water. (As recommneded by the manual) After 3 days or so suing the product, I can't compain, the noise has disaapeared. So far so good...</blockquote>
