Message: <blockquote data-quote="ibast" data-source="post: 34080" data-attributes="member: 37082"><p>Picked up a 2002 e46 fairly cheap but with a few little problems.At the moment the radio/cd doesn't make sound.  It comes on when I push the volume knob, but nothing comes out of the speaker.When I was trying to get it to work, someone opened the passenger door and it came on.  Fiddling with the door revealed it worked full open, but not half open, so that eliminates the light switch shorting it out.The other variable is the window on that same door goes down but when I try to bring it up, it continues to go down.  Fiddling with the switch will bring it back up.So in a traditional electrical system I'd be looking for a short in the door, but in the bus world, it's not so clear.  Could be in the door, could be the switch, could be the radio, could be the k-bus, other?Any thoughts?Where is the connector to the door (other than the ones in the door)?  Behind the glove-box?</p></blockquote><p></p>
