Radio bad reception

Dear all,

My ride is an 98 UK spec 528 single vanos.

I am currently experiencing bad reception from my radio.

The reception used to be vary good and even in smart tunnel.

Since last year, the reception turn weak and sometimes it lost the channel and goes into searching.

I am not sure whether it is due to me removing my phone transmitter as it was faulty and affecting my radio.

I have tried to add an antenna to it but the result is not good.

Any comment ?
