radiator fan - e46

hi just wondering whether radiator fan can be repaired? or have to change wjole set. cos my fan kaput oredi.new set of bosch made - original is about RM1,600 i think. taiwan one no need to say lah. my friend said it can be repaired. is it true???pls help.

bro, if you really want, get a second hand from junk shop.

If you are the adventurous type, can also retrofit with OEM or other make.

Personally for me, I prefer the ori as the cooling system is very sensitive.

I just face the same problem,either u try to wash the hole radiator or have to
replace a new set,for E46(2.0),the fan speed is automatic,it come with full set.

How do you confirm your radiator fan is kaput?

the fan wouldnt rotate. and i think u kinda get funny growling sound from engine bay. oh ya..... air cond blows hot air.
