This has been bugging me for the past 1 week. My speedo OBC has been flashing/asking me to check "Check Brake Light, Check Coolant Level, Check Fog Light, Check Brake Light, Check Park Light, Check Beam Light etc" intermittently. The message will appear or reappear on and off, sometime it will go off when I off the car or sometime it goes off on its own when driving.When I check the coolant, light or brake light, all seems well.. phone diagnose with my mechanic and was told that it could be Speedo problem/Wiring or it might also be ECU. The last part scaring me a lot. Any ideas from forummers what could be the cause of the problem...

Normally intermittent problem is cause by loose connection of the connector or wires.
The problem is where to find it.
Try to take note of the following when it happen:-
1. Did you just over a bump or a pothole
2. Was it just raining.
3. Did you just over a puddle of water.
4. Did your aircon just switch ON.OFF
5. Did it happen at night or daytime.
6. Was it sunny or very hot or very cold.
Only you know the answer to the above cos tou drive the car evertime.
If ECU is faulty, your car would stop!!!
