Hi Guys,Am currently on lowered suspension, on Bilstein/Eibach combination but unable to recall its exact model. Anyway, it is a bit too low to my liking. Therefore, am thinking of increasing its height a little bit.So now, am playing with the idea of Bilstein PSS9. Just wondering if any fellow e39s are on Bilstein e39? If yes, hope you can share your experience here.Cheers... :)

I was using PSS9 previously. My personal opinion is that they are fantastic coilovers. The only gripe I have with them is the adjustment for dampening. You literally need to crawl under the car to adjust the level of dampening. Unless you take your car to the track, I don't think you will be adjusting the damping once it is done. Having said that, the adjustable dampening becomes a white elephant and you will be paying a premium for it. I decided to swop it for a set of Bilstein PSS instead. These are height adjustable but no adjustments for dampening which is fine because the factory setting is nicely balanced for comfort and spirited driving. It is also cheaper by a few hundred dollars.

gabey... Thanks a lot for sharing your experience. Based on your advise, I should consider the PSS too. You still using PSS now? And how much and where do you got it in Singapore?

Glad to help. Still using the PSS for at least 2 years already, no problems at all. One thing about Bilstein, you can thrash them and they will hold up. Paid about S$1.8K (approx) at that time. Anyway, you might want to consider other brands, depending on your preference. Times have changed and there are more E39 stuff to choose from.
