Hi people I have a problem with m20b23 ... I bought it 5 months ago, with gearbox and everything else, but I began a search for a starter failed and when scraped pallets ... m20b25 finally took off the starter and flywheel yet happened. turned out .. gearbox is getrag240 which is not at all ... I bought a box of M20 zf removed from M20 but still did not work ... anyone have any idea what the problem is ...?? I apologize for the spelling, my English is bad...:stupid::stupid:

What he means is :
1. buy car as M20B23.
2. starter gave problems.
3. found a starter from a M20b25.
4. Try to put it in, cannot work, cos M20B23 gearbox is a 240 gearbox.
5. bought a another gearbox from a M20, but its a M20 ZF manual box, still cannot solve.
Am i correct ?
so in other words, got 2 options:
1. look for a M20 240 starter (which is the same as 260 getrag box)
or
2. change the gearbox into a 260 getrag and get M20 260 starter to fit in (which is the same also)
have fun....
