I Am driving a 318i 2.0 e46. In April I changed 4 pcs of new ignition coil and spark plugs.Last week I felt the engine jerking when accelerating. If turn off engine and restart again, the jerking will disappear. This will happen mostly after 1-2 hours of stopping the engine. So i Went to diagnose and found 2 ignition coil misfiring. The question is, I thought ignition coil can last longer that this? The boss of the workshop FOC change a used ignition coil. Testing is ok at the workshop. The boss told me that if it misfired (jerk) again, it will be the electronic board problem. Now after the engine cooled down I restart again, the jerking comes back. Is it possible that the electronic board got problem? How much will it cost? Need help here :(
