One would assume that BMW purposely made those pretentioners self adjustable for some reason, right? Would it have any negative effects on the alternators or compressors? Mine is quite loud. Sometimes what i do it just spray some grease on the gears at the alternator. It quitens down for awhile. But after sometime, the sound is back.
