it's a sad incident and i wish him out this quickly..some of us visited him during lunch today.

For those that want to visit him,
He is at Ward 5U, at 5th Floor, Old Block, Nuerology/Nueroscience Ward.
Visiting hours are 12pm - 2pm and 6pm- 8pm, then you have to leave, but you can't see him, doctor does not allow.

Visited him this morning in ICU, yes, no visitors. The cause of the mishap is still a mystery but from what is heard it wasn't a hit and run, but probably due to mechanical failure of his bicycle.

He was riding without cycling attire and without a helmet. Most probably riding to the neighbourhood shops.
Initial speculation is hit and run but later info suggested a bike failure...
But whichever the cause, if he were to wear a helmet, it would have lessened the impact.
Riding without a helmet is a common sight in our neighbourhood but shit can happen anytime and anywhere, it could be just outside your house. So if you, your kids or anyone u know cycle leisurely, wear a helmet.... Even if it's down 2 blocks away.

But for now, pray for Kev's speedy recovery...
