I was told by my mechanic (a BMW specialist) that the noise will eventually comes back after 1-2 years because of the bearing inside the pump will worn out. The noise from the pump was unbearable, especially when my car go slow and making turns.Hence, he recommended me to change a pump without the bearing and did some modification. He guarantee the noise will not return..hehehe..
