[QUOTE="GasWombat, post: 1957, member: 235"] My ride - a 1994 325 E36 - gives a slight shudder when the steering wheel is turned to far left. Power steering fluid adequate and not leaking. A mech says the pump may be showing first signs of breaking down, but the car could still run normally unless the sound becomes more pronounced. A used power steering pump (with labour included) is $450. is that reasonable? The airflow meter is repairable and can even be fixed DIY, what about the pump or does it make better sense to change to a new one?
